Hyson tea, also known as Lucky Dragon tea, is a Chinese green loose leaf tea that comes from the Anhui province of China. The name Hyson is derived from an Amoy name, which means “flourishing spring”. This loose leaf green tea is made from young leaves that are thinly rolled to have a long, twisted appearance that unfurls when brewed.
